Keto Diets have been in trend for a long time now and people often find them to be effective. A lot of people claim that switching their regular meals with keto meals have given them amazing results. In this article we are going to talk about how we can snack on Keto Options.

People are usually seen to be saying that they do not really find a lot of Keto Options to snack on, but it is high time we recognized these heroes in disguise: Keto Protein Bars. The market is flooded with Keto Bars that will keep your hunger at bay and help you make it to the next meal.

So, the first thing that we need to learn about keto bars is how to find the right ones. For an energy bar to be keto-friendly it has to be low on carbohydrates, but high in fats which is a basic thing that comes with the concept of keto. The studies suggest that an ideal keto bar needs to be constituted of the following things:

  • 60-70% Fat
  • 15-20% Protein
  • 10% or less Carbohydrates

"As long as your low-carb bar has quality, whole ingredients and plenty of healthy fats, the numbers don't have to be exact." says Lauren O’Connor, RD, Owner of Nutri Savvy Health. While the numbers and percentages of the components do not have to be spot on, but the closer they are the better as it will help you to meet your daily needs for energy.

Keto diets are all about counting your macros i.e. how many grams of carbs, fat and protein you can eat on the regular basis.

Whole-Food ingredients are the priorot8y when we pick up our keto snacks. This means that when we are looking for keto bars, we need to prioritize healthy fats and whole proteins over powdered supplements and vitamins. We should steer clear of the preservatives and artificial ingredients as well as sweeteners.

Here is another tip for the people who are new to the Keto Concept. If you are sensitive to carbs or doing strict keto you can skip the nuts and stick to straight oil. Wild caught fish, grass-fed meat, poultry or eggs can fulfill your requirement for good proteins, but we cannot find these in energy bars obviously.

Always be very wise about choosing your keto options especially when it comes to protein bars because they can ruin your entire keto plans if done wrong. Good Luck!
